A Day in the Life This position is 8-hour shift with potential of overtime daily and weekends. This is a small close unit of technicians, we have only one floor in Needles. There are also no clean rooms in Needles to gown up to preform work.  This role will be approximately 60% on the floor troubleshooting and approximately 40% computer and researching components. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • PLC knowledge
  • Laser optics knowledge
  • Maximo software
  • LOTO
  • Root cause analysis experience
